# Delete dashboard

> Delete a dashboard for everyone; only its owner may.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Scope `dashboards:write`. The owner only; anyone else gets `403`.

The dashboard goes with its gadgets, shares, favorites and public link. The deletion is recorded in the audit log.
