# Gadget data

> What one gadget shows the token owner, optionally narrowed by a controller selection.

> Scope `dashboards:read` and the scope of what the gadget shows, for example `tasks:read` for work items.

## Query parameters

**controller** `string`

A controller selection as JSON: `{ "values": { "status": ["Open"] }, "periods": {}, "granularity": null }`. A selection that does not parse answers `422`.

**page** `integer`

The page of a result list, from 1.

## Response

`{ "data": { "status", "data", "computedAt" } }`. `status` is `ok` or `empty` with data, or the reason there is none: `inaccessible`, `sourceMissing`, `noSource`, `invalidQuery`, `unconfigured` or `error`. Module gadgets load their content in the app and answer `unconfigured` here.
