# Delete filter

> Delete a saved filter with its shares, favorites and subscriptions; only its owner or an administrator may.

Deletes a filter for good. Its shares, favorites and email subscriptions go with it. A quick filter that used it shows as not accessible.

  Scope `filters:write`. The owner deletes their filter; an administrator also deletes a shared one.

## Response

`200` with `{ "data": { "success": true } }`. `403` for someone who may only read or edit it, `404` for a filter the token owner may not read.
