# Update agenda section

> Rename an agenda section, saved against the version you read so a concurrent rename is never lost.

Renames the section unless someone changed it since you read it. Then the request returns
`409 CONFLICT` with the section as it is now in `current`.

  Scope `meetings:write`. Organizers, and participants when the meeting allows it. The meeting must not
  be closed or cancelled.

<ParamField body="baseUpdatedAt" type="string" required>The section's `updatedAt` as you read it, ISO 8601 in UTC.</ParamField>
