# Cancel meeting

> Call off a draft or planned meeting; everyone who holds it in a calendar receives a cancellation.

Moves a draft or planned meeting to `CANCELLED`. Everyone who already holds it in a calendar receives
a cancellation; a draft was never announced, so cancelling it sends nothing. Polls still open close
with it.

  Scope `meetings:write`. Organizers, co-organizers and Space admins (for meetings that are not
  private). Recorded in the audit log.

## Path parameters

The body is optional.
