# Get page

> Read a page's metadata and content.

Returns one page with its metadata and its content.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Your API key needs the `docs:read` scope. You see the page only if its owner may see it in Collabase. A page the owner may not see answers `404`, the same as a page that does not exist.

## Path parameters

**id** `string` *required*

UUID of the page.

## Response

The response is wrapped in `data` and has the fields of [Create page](https://collabase.ch/docs/api/pages/create-page.md) plus the content.

**data.content** `array | null` *required*

The body of the page as Plate JSON. If the page has unsaved draft work, that is what you get, as in the editor. `null` for an empty page, a folder or a whiteboard without content.
