# HERMES phase Deployment

> The HERMES Deployment phase in the traditional approach: deployment measures, migration, activation, launch of operation, acceptance and closure phase release.

In the traditional approach, Deployment ensures a safe transition to the new state. Operation is launched.

## What happens in Deployment

* Deployment measures such as user training are carried out.
* Depending on the scenario, the migration is carried out.
* The product or system and the organization are activated.
* Operation is activated.
* The information security and data protection concept is handed over.
* During the first period of operation, until acceptance, the project supports problem analysis and resolution. After that, the warranty and regular operation begin.

## How Deployment ends

The **closure phase release** decision is taken and the resources for Closure are released. After a successful launch of operation, the **acceptance** decision is taken and the phase ends.
