# Test project settings

> Set the review rules, the roles, the key prefix and how a project is archived.

**Who can do this?**

| | |
| - | - |
| **Role** | Space administrator |
| **Edition** | Community |

## Rules

| Rule | Effect |
| - | - |
| **Require approval** | New versions are reviewed before they can be run. |
| **Four-eyes principle** | The person who last edited a version cannot approve it. |
| **Status of an execution** | The latest result counts, or the worst one. Changing it recomputes every execution. |
| **Counts as covered when** | Linked, executed or passed. |
| **Create cases for unknown tests** | CI imports add a case for each new test. Otherwise they wait for your decision. |

## Key prefix

The prefix gives cases and cycles their keys, for example `QA-T12`. It has 2 to 10 capital letters or digits and is unique in the space. Once a case exists the prefix is fixed.

## Roles

Add people or groups as test manager, tester or reviewer. A space administrator always has access.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Removing the last role opens the project to every member of the space again. You confirm this when you do it.

## Archive and delete

An archived project is read-only and keeps all its history. A project that was never executed can be deleted. Once a test was executed, archive it instead.

## Export for the archive

Under **Export** you download the test cases or the executions of the project as a CSV file (up to 50,000 rows). You need the right to configure the project. Through the API the same file is `GET /api/v1/test-management/projects/{projectId}/export?kind=cases` or `kind=executions`.
