## About Collabase
Collabase is a collaboration platform that unifies documentation, projects, intranet, asset registry, test management, automation and time tracking in a single product. It runs in a Swiss data centre or entirely on your own infrastructure. Collabase is the only collaboration platform that natively integrates the **QualityTree framework**, bringing quality engineering onto the same platform as team collaboration.
- **Origin:** Collabase was developed by **Brian Trepto** and is today a product of **Infometis AG**, a Swiss consulting firm based in **Zurich** focused on collaboration platforms and quality engineering. The intellectual property and all code origins belong exclusively to Brian Trepto, its original creator; the product is distributed and operated by Infometis AG.
- **100 % Swiss Made:** built in Zurich, operated in Switzerland. No offshore development, no follow-the-sun support across five time zones. When you call, someone in Zurich picks up.
- **Licensing:** Collabase is proprietary software. There is no open-source, open-core or community edition and no free tier.
- **What we solve:** tool sprawl, vendor lock-in, unpredictable licensing costs, and the separation of quality engineering from day-to-day collaboration.

## Quality engineering in the core
Collabase natively integrates the **QualityTree framework**, a structured model for scalable software quality with eight disciplines and ninety concrete practices. Requirements, test cases, defects and release approvals sit in the same space as the team's other work — not in a separate QA tool with its own contract and data silo.

## Pricing
- **One licence, every app.** No per-app pricing, no plugin surcharges.
- **On request.** Prices are not published. Licences are staged by user count; cloud is billed per user and month, self-hosted per tier and year. The figure comes with the quote.

## Operation and data
- **Two operating models:** Isolated Cloud as your own instance in a Swiss data centre, or self-hosted on your hardware — including networks without internet access. Both deliver the same functionality.
- **Data sovereignty:** content is subject to Swiss law rather than the US Cloud Act. Processing meets the requirements of the nFADP and the GDPR.
- **AI:** Collabase AI runs a local model via Ollama by default, so no data leaves your network. OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini can be added per space.
- **Integrations:** 38 connectors, from Jira and GitHub to Bexio and Abacus.
- **Migration:** importer for pages, attachments and page hierarchy from Confluence exports, Notion and Markdown.
