How it works
- Team members who want to be recognized add their birthday to their Profile → Personal → Birthday
- The birthday widget on the Intranet home shows names and dates for upcoming birthdays
- On a team member’s birthday, they appear at the top of the widget with a celebration indicator 🎂
Privacy
- Birthdays are opt-in — the widget only shows people who have explicitly set their birthday in their profile
- The year of birth is never shown — only month and day
- Users can remove their birthday from their profile at any time and they’ll be removed from the widget immediately
Admin configuration
Admins can disable the birthday widget entirely under Admin → Intranet Config → Display → Show Birthdays Widget.Next steps
