Why use Meetings
Decisions you can find again
Decisions you can find again
Every decision is recorded with its rationale and the people who made it, and lands in a decision register you can filter by space, series, person and status. A decision that is replaced or revoked stays visible with its new status.
Meetings that end on time
Meetings that end on time
The agenda shows planned against available minutes before the meeting starts. During the meeting a timer runs per topic and projects when the meeting will end.
Minutes nobody has to type up
Minutes nobody has to type up
The meeting note is written from the agenda, notes, decisions and tasks when the meeting closes, and stored as a normal page with versions, search and permissions.
Work items straight from the discussion
Work items straight from the discussion
An outcome of type task becomes a work item in a project with one click, linked back to the meeting.
Key concepts
Meeting
Meeting
One date with a title, time, duration and place. A meeting can belong to a space and optionally to a project of that space, or to no space at all. It moves through the statuses Draft, Planned, Running and Closed, or ends as Cancelled.
Series
Series
A meeting that repeats daily, weekly or monthly. Each date of the series is a meeting of its own with its own agenda, so a series never fills up with empty meetings in advance: the next date always exists, later ones appear when someone adds something to them.
Agenda item
Agenda item
A topic on the agenda. It has an optional owner, an estimate in minutes, notes, outcomes and links to work items or pages. Items that are not finished can be parked in the backlog or handed on to another meeting.
Outcome and decision
Outcome and decision
An outcome records what was settled at an item: an Information or a Task with a responsible person and due date. A decision is recorded separately, with rationale and the people who decided, and appears in the decision register.
Meeting note
Meeting note
The minutes of a closed meeting, written as a page in the space’s Meetings folder. It starts as a draft only the organizers can read, and becomes visible to everyone else when an organizer publishes it.

Who can do what
Access comes from two places: your role in the meeting, and your access to the meeting’s space. In one sentence: you see a meeting if you are invited, or if you can read its space and the meeting is not private.
A Private meeting is visible only to the people invited to it. Access to the space does not reach it, and that includes space and instance administrators.
