When a meeting ends, Collabase proposes to each participant the time they spent in it. The proposal appears in the Book your time block at the top of the meeting page, and only the person it belongs to sees it. Nothing is booked until that person clicks Book time.

How long the proposal is

A booking from a meeting is never longer than 12 hours. The time is booked on the meeting’s project. A meeting without a project books personal time. If the project has time tracking switched off, nobody gets a proposal.

Book the time

1

Open the meeting

Open the closed meeting. The Book your time block shows the proposed minutes and the start.
2

Adjust the length (optional)

Change Minutes if you left early or stayed longer.
3

Choose a work item (optional)

Under Work item, pick one of the work items that were linked in the meeting or created from its outcomes. Only work items you can open are listed.
4

Book

Click Book time. The entry appears in your time tracking with the meeting title as its description.
Click Dismiss if you do not want to book the meeting. A dismissed proposal does not come back.

When booking is not possible

Reopened meetings

If a meeting is reopened and closed again, open proposals are worked out anew. Time you already booked or dismissed counts as covered: if the meeting got longer, you get a proposal for the difference only. Booking fewer minutes than proposed does not bring the rest back later. When an administrator deletes a member, their open proposals are deleted. Time they booked stays in time tracking.
