The audit log records changes and security events across the whole installation: who signed in, who changed a permission, who deleted a page, which agent changed a work item. Use it to answer “who did this, and when?” after an incident, and as evidence for an audit. Who can do this?

Open the audit log

Go to Administration → Audit Log. The newest entries come first, 50 at a time. Click Load more at the bottom for older ones. Nobody can edit or delete an entry from this screen. Entries are written by Collabase itself when something happens.

Two filters sit above the list. They combine, so you can show, for example, only deletions of pages.

Questions and where to look

What is recorded

How long entries are kept

The retention is fixed and cannot be changed on the screen. Entries are part of the database, so they are included in every backup.
The audit log stores the IP address and the browser of the person who acted. Take this into account in your record of processing activities.
