Which personal data Collabase stores as an application, who is the controller, where the data lives, what leaves your server and how to deactivate or delete accounts.

| Disable an account | The person can no longer sign in. Account and content remain. |
| Delete an account | The account is removed permanently. Pages, work items and other content the person created are kept. See Users & Groups. |
| Deactivation from the directory | LDAP and SCIM deactivate accounts that were removed in your directory. They do not delete them. |
| AI chats | Private to the person who wrote them. No administrator view. Deleted 30 days after the last message. |
| Pre-update backups | Kept for 7 days in a self-hosted installation |
| Collabase Cloud on exit | You receive a full database dump, the upload volume and access to the repository of your backups. Production data and backups are then deleted within the contractually agreed period, confirmed in writing on request. |
