Privacy policy for collabase.ch.

Scope

This policy covers the website collabase.ch. Operation of the software is governed by the contract with your organisation and the data processing agreement that belongs to it. We follow the Swiss DPA and, where applicable, the GDPR.

Hosting and server logs

The website runs on Vercel and is served from the Frankfurt region. When you open a page, your browser transmits technical details that are written to server logs there:

• ·date and time of access
• ·address requested and amount of data transferred
• ·referring address (referrer)
• ·browser, operating system and language

We need these details to run the site, keep it stable and keep it secure. They are not combined with other data and never used for advertising.

Cookies and entries in storage

We set no cookies, run no tracking through ad networks and do no profiling. Your browser's local storage holds three technical entries: the language you picked, the note that you have seen the beta message, and your choice in the consent banner. All three stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Traffic measurement

We measure visitor numbers with Vercel Web Analytics, the analytics tool of our host. It loads only after you agreed in the consent banner. What it records is the page you opened, the referring address, country, device type, browser and operating system. Vercel sets no cookie for this and stores nothing on your device; a value derived from your IP address and browser details holds the pages of one visit together, changes daily and cannot be traced back to a person. It shows us which pages get read, not who reads them. You can withdraw at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Typeface

The Outfit typeface is loaded from Google Fonts when you open a page. Google learns your device's IP address in the process. We use the typeface for a consistent appearance of the site.

Chatbot

The Chatbase chat window loads only after you agreed in the consent banner. Without consent its script is not loaded, so no request reaches Chatbase. If you agree, what you write there, together with the technical details of your browser, goes to Chatbase, which produces the answer; we can see the conversations to improve answers and follow up on questions. You can withdraw at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. Please keep personal data and confidential content out of the chat; for a conversation with us, use email or the enquiry form.

Enquiries and contact

Through the contact form and the proof-of-concept enquiry you send us your company, first and last name, email address and phone number, along with the details on apps, number of users and timing. Both forms forward the answers to us as email, technically through the service Resend. We use them to answer your enquiry and prepare an offer. If you write to us directly, the same applies to whatever your message contains.

Booking a call

For a call we link to Cal.com. No booking window is embedded on collabase.ch: only when you follow the link do you leave our site, and the details from the booking form are processed there.

Support, roadmap and documentation

Customer support, roadmap and changelog run on Featurebase, the product documentation on docs.collabase.ch. Opening one of those addresses takes you off collabase.ch, and the privacy terms of that service apply.

Processors and disclosure

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it on for advertising. Access is limited to service providers who support our operations and are contractually bound to our instructions: Vercel for hosting and traffic measurement, Resend for delivering form submissions, Chatbase for the chatbot. Authorities receive data where the law obliges us.

Retention

Server logs are deleted after a short period. Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as we need them to handle your request, and beyond that for as long as the law requires.

When the website or one of the services we use changes, we update this policy. The version shown here is the one that applies.
