Collabase tells you about the things that need you: a mention, a task, a page someone shared with you. Notifications collect in the notification center at the top of the screen, and some also arrive by email.

The notification center

Click the bell (Notifications) at the top right of the screen. A number on the bell shows how many notifications you have not read. The center shows your newest 50 notifications and checks for new ones every minute. An empty list shows You’re all caught up., or No unread notifications when the Unread filter is on.

What notifies you

Mentions in the running text of a page do not notify anyone. Use a comment or a to-do item when the person should react.

Emails about your pages

When someone else changes the content of a page you created, you receive an email with a link to the page. The email is sent in your preferred language. Your administrator can switch this email off for the whole instance in the mail settings of the administration area. There is no personal setting for it in this version.

Watching pages

Collabase has no watch or follow function for single pages or Spaces in this version. You hear about a page when you created it, when you are mentioned in a comment or a to-do, when it is shared with you, or when someone suggests a change to it. To keep important pages at hand, mark them as favorites, see Pages.
