In short.
Collabase Intranet is the internal portal of the Swiss platform Collabase. News with an audience and read receipts, events, quick links and a people directory with roles and skills, in your own corporate design and on your own domain.

On your domain
Your own subdomain or your own domain, with your own certificate
When important news drowns in email noise.
Management sends an announcement to everyone. Three weeks later twenty people ask the same question. The answer is in the email from November, but nobody finds it again. Intranet keeps internal communication findable and shows who has read it.
Important announcements land in a full inbox and get missed.
Onboarding questions are answered from scratch every time because there is no central place.
You want internal communication that looks like your company and not like an off-the-shelf product.
What you gain.
News that lands
Announcements go to audiences instead of distribution lists. Read receipts show who opened a mandatory post, and comments turn a one-way notice into a conversation.
In your design
Colours, logos, fonts and layouts follow your corporate design, down to the sign-in screen. The intranet looks like your company, not like a bought-in tool.

Find people and expertise
The people directory carries skills, responsibilities and availability. Anyone looking for a certain competence finds the person in house, without twelve follow-up questions.
Where it pays off.
Internal communication
Announcements and results, traceable and findable later.
Onboarding
New colleagues find everything that matters in one place.
Events & culture
Internal events with sign-up, reminder and follow-up.
Knowledge transfer
Make expertise visible, name a contact per topic.
Intranet is one app of seven.
Handbooks from Docs are reachable inside the intranet, people profiles take their skills from Registry, and events can be backed with reminders from the Automation Engine. Every app shares login, permissions and data. One contract, one deployment, one contact.

Questions from first conversations.
Intranet in practice: what comes up most often in a first conversation.
Do mandatory announcements actually reach everyone?
Every announcement has its audience, and mandatory news carries read receipts. Anyone who has not read it is reminded. That makes readership a matter of record rather than an assumption about a distribution list.
Does the intranet run on our own domain?
Yes, on your own subdomain or your own domain, with your own certificate. Colours, logos and layouts come from your corporate design rather than a default template.
What does the people directory hold?
Roles, responsibilities and skills. Search then answers the question of who owns a topic in the organisation, instead of only returning a phone number.
What else belongs to it besides news?
Events, quick links to everyday tools, and birthdays. All of it sits in the same space as the work, not in a separate portal with its own login.

In the proof of concept we set up Intranet with your brand and one of your real announcements, including the migration of an existing news archive.
