A flow that starts from a chat message can be offered on a page of its own. Every message starts a run, and the flow’s reply appears in the same conversation.
1

Start from a chat message

Choose Chat message received as the trigger. The trigger data holds the visitor’s message and a sessionId.
2

Reply

Add Reply in the chat and write the reply. You can use the output of earlier steps, for example the answer of an AI step.
3

Publish and switch on

Only a published flow that is switched on answers.
4

Make the link

Select Chat link, then Make link, and share the address.

Good to know

  • A visitor’s conversation belongs to their browser tab. A reply that takes longer than 30 seconds shows a notice and appears in the conversation when it is ready.
  • One address can send 100 messages a minute.
  • Messages and replies are kept with the run and removed with it.
  • Make a new link replaces the link at once. The old address shows a not found page.
  • Only text is supported.
