Git sync moves flows between instances or workspaces: one development workspace pushes its published flows to a branch, and a production workspace pulls them. Only admins connect a repository.

Connect a repository

1

Open the Git tab

In the workspace, open Git.
2

Enter the repository

Enter the https address, the branch and the role of this workspace, and an access token. Collabase stores the token encrypted and never shows it again. SSH addresses and plain http are not accepted.

Push from development

Write a commit message and select Push published flows. The push runs in the background. Only one push of a workspace runs at a time, and the tab shows the result of the last one. Only published flows are pushed, and connection values never are.

Pull in production

1

Check differences

Select Check differences. The list shows each flow as new, changed or no longer in the branch. Flows missing in the branch stay as they are.
2

Put in place

Select Put in place. New flows are created, changed flows get the definition in their draft, and both are published. Flows that cannot be published, for example because a plug is not installed, are listed and the others still go through.
In a sensitive workspace nothing is published directly. Each changed flow becomes an approval request for a second admin.

Releases and rollback

Every pull is recorded as a release. The Releases list shows each one. Select Go back to this state to put an earlier release in place. A rollback is a release of its own.

Conflicts

If the repository changed while a push was under way, the push stops with a message and nothing is overwritten. Pull first, then push again.
